Over-the-Counter Medications
Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve for 1 week prior as these may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Please consult your physician you are taking Aspirin for medical reasons.
Diet & Supplements
- Avoid supplements, including Gingko Biloba, fish oil, and Vitamin E for one week prior to injections.

Adding leafy greens to your diet will boost your Vitamin K and help to reduce the possibility of bruising and swelling.

Avoid eating apples or large quantities of garlic before your appointment
Hydrate
Hydrate before your appointment.
Alcohol
Do not drink alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to.
Personal Care
- Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or hair removal cream on the area to be treated for 3 days prior.

Do not use dermal fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are allergic to any ingredients.

Arrive to your appointment with a clean face.
Before your Visit

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS:
Clients must cancel appointments within 48 hours. Charges may be issued depending on the service booked.
Contact with the Treatment Area
Do not rub, massage or apply pressure to the treated area the same day as treatment.
Can I Exercise?
Avoid strenuous exercise or activity for 24 hours following treatment. You may resume other normal activities immediately.
Skin Care & Makeup

You may begin to wearing makeup once any bleeding from the injection site(s) has subsided.

Avoid extended UV exposure until any redness/swelling has subsided. Be sure to apply an SPF 30.
Pain Relief
- Application of an ice pack to the injection area after treatment may help reduce swelling.

Do not take ibuprofen or aspirin for 36 hours after filler.
Alcohol

Avoid drinking alcohol for a minimum of 12 hours following treatment as this may contribute to bruising and/or swelling.
