Types Of Filler
Uses hylacross technology for improving and enhancing the size, shape, and contour of your lips. Because of its thicker consistency and larger particle size, Juvéderm Ultra can provide a more dramatic improvement than other dermal filler options.
Contains the thinnest, most spreadable gel. Perfect to fill fine lip lines.
Contains the thickest, strongest gel. Ideal for deep injection into the cheek area to get a nice lift and volume boost.
Combines a “happy medium” of durability and spreadability to treat nasolabial folds while allowing for natural facial expressions and movements.
Preparing For Your Filler Treatment
Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve for 1 week prior as these may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Please consult your physician you are taking Aspirin for medical reasons.
Avoid supplements, including Gingko Biloba, fish oil, and Vitamin E for one week prior to injections.
Adding leafy greens to your diet will boost your Vitamin K and help to reduce the possibility of bruising and swelling.
Hydrate before your appointment.
Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or hair removal cream on the area to be treated for 3 days prior.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to.
Avoid eating apples or large quantities of garlic before your appointment.
Do not use dermal fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are allergic to any ingredients.
Arrive to your appointment with a clean face.
Post Treatment Instructions
Application of an ice pack to the injection area after treatment may help reduce swelling.
Do not rub, massage or apply any pressure to the treated area the same day as treatment.
Avoid strenuous exercise or activity for 24 hours following treatment. You may resume other normal activities immediately.
Do not take ibuprofen or aspirin for 36 hours after filler.
You may begin to wearing makeup once any bleeding from the injection site(s) has subsided.
Avoid drinking alcohol for a minimum of 12 hours following treatment as this may contribute to bruising and/or swelling.
Avoid extended UV exposure until any redness/swelling has subsided. Be sure to apply an SPF 30.
