Types Of Filler

Juvederm Ultra:

  • Uses hylacross technology for improving and enhancing the size, shape, and contour of your lips. Because of its thicker consistency and larger particle size, Juvéderm Ultra can provide a more dramatic improvement than other dermal filler options.


  • Contains the thinnest, most spreadable gel. Perfect to fill fine lip lines.


  • Contains the thickest, strongest gel. Ideal for deep injection into the cheek area to get a nice lift and volume boost.


  • Combines a “happy medium” of durability and spreadability to treat nasolabial folds while allowing for natural facial expressions and movements.

Preparing For Your Filler Treatment

  • Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve for 1 week prior as these may increase bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Please consult your physician you are taking Aspirin for medical reasons.

  • Avoid supplements, including Gingko Biloba, fish oil, and Vitamin E for one week prior to injections.

  • Adding leafy greens to your diet will boost your Vitamin K and help to reduce the possibility of bruising and swelling.

  • Hydrate before your appointment.

  • Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or hair removal cream on the area to be treated for 3 days prior.

  • Do not drink alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to.

  • Avoid eating apples or large quantities of garlic before your appointment.

  • Do not use dermal fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are allergic to any ingredients.

  • Arrive to your appointment with a clean face.

Post Treatment Instructions

  • Application of an ice pack to the injection area after treatment may help reduce swelling.

  • Do not rub, massage or apply any pressure to the treated area the same day as treatment.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise or activity for 24 hours following treatment. You may resume other normal activities immediately.

  • Do not take ibuprofen or aspirin for 36 hours after filler.

  • You may begin to wearing makeup once any bleeding from the injection site(s) has subsided.

  • Avoid drinking alcohol for a minimum of 12 hours following treatment as this may contribute to bruising and/or swelling.

  • Avoid extended UV exposure until any redness/swelling has subsided. Be sure to apply an SPF 30.
